Vocabularies and Registries
Metadata elements can be expressed as formal vocabularies. Vocabularies using RDF are the basis for many Semantic Web efforts. There is work taking place with members of the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative and experts in RDA to express the RDA data elements and the many vocabulary lists used by RDA in a formal RDF format.
This expression of data elements as a vocabulary would satisfy the Data or Domain Model as shown in the Framework document.
