Exercise 2

There are three parts to the exercise. Imagine you have a book in front of you. A new book.

Part 1: Pretend you are the owner of a warehouse that stores books, and packages and ships books to customers. What metadata do you need about the book in order to do your job?

Part 2: You run a bookstore. You will store, display, and sell the books to customers. What metadata do you need about the book to do your job?

Part 3: You are the librarian in a school library. You will order and receive books, catalog them, and prepare them for your students. What metadata do you need to do your job?
